STOP THE BLAME GAME: PDP CHIEFTAIN CALLS FOR UNITY AND REBUILDING AHEAD OF ELECTIONS

A prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Kogi State, Idowu Unoja, has called for an end to the blame game within the party. Unoja urged that the focus should be on rebuilding and strengthening the party ahead of future elections.

He specifically advised that the National Chairman, Ambassador Umar Damagum, should be allowed to concentrate on his efforts to build and reposition the party without distractions.

Unoja pointed fingers at the party’s former Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, and the Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, for the current disorganization and challenges facing the PDP. He suggested that they should take responsibility for the party’s woes rather than shifting blame.

Furthermore, Unoja appealed to the PDP governors to unite and work together to strengthen the party. He noted that about 90% of the party’s leaders have benefited from the generosity of the current Minister of FCT, who was previously the Governor of Rivers State. Unoja’s statement implies that these leaders should show appreciation and loyalty to the party by supporting its growth and development.
